Dubuque Museum of Art

The Dubuque Museum of Art is the oldest cultural institution west of the Mississippi. They are one of two Smithsonian accredited museums in Dubuque.

The Dubuque Museum of Art shows regional artists and rotates their permanent collection through their three gallery spaces.

    The Dubuque Museum of Art welcomes and periodically reviews exhibition proposals from professional artists, curators and lending institutions. Exhibitions are selected for their merit and fit with professional museum standards and are generally scheduled at least two years in advance.

    The Dubuque Museum of Art is not focused on sales. They will place a price list at the front desk by artist request. They do not take a commission of sales.
